Frequently Asked Questions
General Questions
CarGari is a peer-to-peer vehicle sharing platform
CarGari is based in Denver Colorado, and currently operates within the state of Colorado. Nationwide expansion is on our roadmap, however.
Since this is a peer-to-peer vehicle sharing platform,
- CarGari may allow a greater variety of vehicles than those typically offered by traditional corporate car rental fleets
- CarGari Presenters offer pickup/dropoff places that are more convenient to Receivers than those offered by traditional corporate car rental agencies
- CarGari Presenters may allow more flexible pickup/dropoff times than traditional corporate car rental agencies
See our terms and conditions for complete details. Some summary highlights of our policy are that:
Receivers, with certain limited exceptions, are required to cancel at least 48 hours prior to the scheduled vehicle reservation pickup date and time, to receive a full CarGari spend credit.
Presenters, with certain limited exceptions, are required to cancel at least 48 hours prior to the scheduled vehicle reservation pickup date and time, or must pay a penalty of up to 25% of the booking fee.
Both the Presenter and the Receiver must show proof of insurance. See protection plan.
Our default policy is that smoking is NOT permitted in any vehicle unless explicitly allowed by the Presenter of a specific vehicle
Default prices are based on the base stated market value of a vehicle, and are adjusted for the weekly cycle of a market and for certain specified dates (e.g. perhaps holidays, major sporting event dates, etc.); however a Presenter may adjust the prices of the weekly cycle and may adjust the price of any specific date(s).
